Our handle comb, made of 100 % high-quality wood, impresses with its extremely even surface texture and precisely rounded teeth. This allows you to gently tidy and structure both damp and dry hair. To loosen knots more easily and avoid unpleasant pulling, make sure you always comb your hair from bottom to top.

This handle comb is manufactured with a tine width of 0.8 mm and is therefore particularly suitable for short and fine hair. The teeth glide effortlessly up to the scalp when combing and provide a soothing massage. This stimulates blood circulation and promotes healthy hair growth.

Thanks to the ergonomically shaped handle, the handle comb is extremely comfortable to hold, even when used frequently. The 100% natural materials make the comb naturally elastic, stable and antistatic.

Material

Our handle combs are made exclusively from finely textured fruit and hardwoods from sustainable, regional forestry in Germany. Experience gained over generations enables us to achieve the highest quality when processing the wood and manufacturing our combs. This is based on an elaborate manufacturing process consisting of 20 individual work steps, in which the grinding and rounding of the zinc tips is of particular importance.

When choosing a handle comb, pay attention to the spacing of the tines. Small spacing is suitable for fine, short hair. The curlier and longer your hair is, the wider the distance between the tines should be.

As the wood grain of our handle combs always varies, each of these enchanting utensils is unique.

Care instructions

Avoid prolonged contact with water. Wash the comb at regular intervals with a mild and silicone-free shampoo or a mild soap, rinse under clear water and then rub dry immediately. Oiling with a natural oil such as olive oil or beeswax balm optimizes care, makes the surface of the hairdressing comb shine and protects it from moisture at the same time.

Packaging and shipping

When packaging our products, we strive for a reliable balance between transportation safety and sustainability. That's why we only use recycled paper, cardboard, environmentally friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper and then securely packed in a cardboard box and made ready for dispatch.

Fair trade is not just an additional feature for us, but a matter of course! That's why we have opted for suitable companies in Europe and against cheap production in Asia or Eastern Europe.

It is essential for us that our products are manufactured under humane conditions, from the extraction of raw materials to the end product. The geographical proximity enables us to gain a closer insight into the individual areas and creates significantly shorter transport routes, so that we contribute to an immense saving in CO₂ and to the benefit of the environment.

Our products and their packaging are largely made from biodegradable raw materials that come from sustainable agriculture. By producing in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards compared to products produced in Asia.
