Material

Rhodoïd cellulose acetate is a sheet material made from cotton in Italy. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and then cut into individual discs. In an elaborate process, these discs are used to make enchanting hair jewellery and hair accessories.

This thin hairband is made with fine rows of teeth. These have softly rounded tips that give the hairband a secure hold without exerting unnecessary pressure on the scalp or even irritating it.

Tip

Our Alice bands are designed in such a way that they can always be adjusted to your individual head shape for an all-round comfortable fit. To achieve this, briefly place the headband in hot water or blow-dry it. You can then carefully mould it while it is still warm and give the headband the desired shape.

The teeth of the headband, which provide the necessary hold, can also be easily trimmed to the desired size with a file and adjusted to your requirements. Comfortable and reliable to wear for both short and long hair.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our products, we strive for a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. That's why we only use recycled paper, cardboard, environmentally friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper and then securely packed in a box and made ready for dispatch.

It is essential for us that our products are manufactured under humane conditions, from the extraction of raw materials to the final product. Our Alice bands and their packaging are largely made from biodegradable raw materials that come from sustainable agriculture. Thanks to production in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards compared to products produced in Asia.
