Alice band Alicante - black, narrow, braided

Our narrow Alice band Alicante is available in a new, sophisticated braided version: two contrasting strands - one in the typical Alicante pattern of black, white and gold, the other in plain jet black - are skilfully intertwined. The result is an elegant, stylish hair accessory with modern depth and classic sophistication.

The Alice band not only offers a visually special structure, but also excellent wearing comfort. Thanks to its flexible shape, it adapts perfectly to both fine, short hair and voluminous, long hair and keeps it securely in shape - without pinching.

The iconic Alicante colour scheme is reminiscent of southern temperament and the contrasting architecture of Alicante's old town. Golden lines run through the black and white pattern and make it shine elegantly in combination with the smooth black strand.

Made from high-quality cellulose acetate, the Alice band has a slightly shimmering sheen, emphasising your feminine charisma - whether in everyday life, at the office or on special occasions.

Diameter: The diameter of Alice bands made from rhodoïd can be adjusted. To do this, briefly place the Alice band in hot water and bend to the desired size.

Material

Rhodoïd cellulose acetate is a sheet material made from cotton in Italy. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and then cut into individual slices. Enchanting hair jewellery and hair accessories are made from these discs in an elaborate process.

This narrow Alice band is made with fine rows of teeth. These have softly rounded tips that give the Alice band a secure hold without exerting unnecessary pressure on the scalp or even irritating it.

Tip

Our Alice bands are designed in such a way that they can always be adjusted to your individual head shape for an all-round comfortable fit. To do this, briefly place the Alice band in hot water or blow-dry it. You can then carefully mould it while it is still warm and give the Alice band the desired shape.

The teeth of the Alice band, which provide the necessary hold, can also be easily trimmed to the desired size with a file and adjusted to your needs. Comfortable and reliable to wear for both short and long hair.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our products, we strive for a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. That's why we only use recycled paper, cardboard, environmentally friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper and then securely packed in a box and made ready for dispatch.

Fair trade is not just an additional feature for us, but a matter of course! That's why we have opted for suitable companies in Europe rather than cheap production in Asia or Eastern Europe.

It is essential for us that our products are manufactured under humane conditions, from the extraction of raw materials to the final product. The geographical proximity enables us to gain a closer insight into the individual areas and creates significantly shorter transport routes, so that we contribute to an immense saving in CO₂ and to the benefit of the environment.

Our Alice bands and their packaging are largely made from biodegradable raw materials that come from sustainable agriculture. Thanks to production in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards compared to products produced in Asia.
