Wooden-handled comb for short, straight hair

Our handle comb, made from 100% high-quality wood, features an exceptionally smooth surface and precisely rounded teeth. This allows you to gently style and shape both damp and dry hair. To make it easier to untangle knots and avoid unpleasant tugging, make sure you always comb your hair from the bottom up.

This handle comb is crafted with a tooth width of 0.8 mm, making it particularly suitable for short and fine hair. The teeth glide effortlessly right down to the scalp whilst combing, providing a soothing massage. This stimulates blood circulation and promotes healthy hair growth.

Thanks to its ergonomically shaped handle, the comb is extremely comfortable to hold, even with frequent use. The 100% natural materials make the comb naturally flexible, sturdy and anti-static.

Material

Our combs are made exclusively from finely grained fruit woods and hardwoods sourced from sustainable, regional forestry in Germany. Experience accumulated over generations enables us to achieve the highest quality in the processing of the wood and the manufacture of our combs. This is based on a complex manufacturing process comprising 20 individual steps, in which the sanding and rounding of the comb teeth are of particular importance.

When choosing a comb, pay attention to the spacing between the teeth. Narrow spacing is suitable for fine, short hair. The curlier and longer your hair is, the wider the spacing between the teeth should be.

As the wood grain of our wooden-handled combs always varies, each of these charming items is a little one-of-a-kind piece.

Care instructions

Avoid prolonged contact with water. Wash the comb at regular intervals using a mild, silicone-free shampoo or mild soap, rinse under clean water and then dry it thoroughly straight away. Applying a natural oil such as olive oil or beeswax balm optimises care, gives the surface of the styling comb a shine and, at the same time, protects it from moisture.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our products, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper, cardboard boxes, eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.

For us, Fair Trade isn’t just an added bonus – it’s a given! That’s why we’ve chosen to work with suitable companies in Europe rather than opting for cheaper manufacturing in Asia or Eastern Europe.

It is essential to us that our products are manufactured under humane conditions, from the sourcing of raw materials right through to the finished product. Our geographical proximity allows us to gain a more detailed insight into the individual areas of production and significantly reduces transport distances, enabling us to make a huge contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and protecting the environment.

Our products and their packaging are made predominantly from biodegradable raw materials sourced from sustainable agriculture. As our products are manufactured in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards, unlike products manufactured in Asia.
