Material

Rhodoïd is a sheet material made from cotton in Italy. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and then cut into individual discs. These discs are then transformed into enchanting hair ornaments and hair accessories through a labour-intensive process.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our items, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper, cardboard boxes, eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.

Our hair accessories and their packaging are made predominantly from biodegradable raw materials sourced from sustainable agriculture. As our products are manufactured in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards, unlike products manufactured in Asia.
