Material

The extra-large Lausanne claw clip is made from high-quality Rhodoïd cellulose acetate – Rhodoïd for short. For this claw clip, we use a patented elastic band instead of the traditional metal spring, making it particularly sturdy, robust and gentle on the hair.

Rhodoïd is a sheet material made from cotton in Italy. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and then cut into individual discs. Through a labour-intensive process, these discs are transformed into enchanting hair ornaments and accessories such as the Lausanne claw clip.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our items, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper and cardboard, as well as eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.
