Material

Our classic hairbrush is crafted from high-quality pear wood and fitted with selected wild boar bristles. The raw materials are sourced from sustainable forestry and agriculture and are processed with the utmost precision by a German company. This involves a meticulous manufacturing process that guarantees smooth surfaces and ensures gentle care for your hair and scalp.

Boar bristles have a similar structure to human hair. This enables them to absorb excess sebum from the hair follicles and distribute it right down to the ends of the hair whilst brushing. This acts as a natural hair treatment and gives your hair a healthy shine.

As the wood grain of the hairbrushes always varies, each of these items is a charming, one-of-a-kind piece.

Care instructions

Our Redwood brush cleaner makes it easy to remove lint and trapped hairs from between the bristles. Clean the hairbrush from time to time using a mild, silicone-free shampoo or mild soap and warm water, then rinse under cold water.

Wipe the wooden handle dry with a soft cloth and leave the brush to dry standing on its bristles. Regularly oiling it with a natural oil such as linseed oil or olive oil nourishes the wood whilst also protecting it from moisture.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our products, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper, cardboard boxes, eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.
