Material

The medium-sized Lausanne claw clip is made from high-quality Rhodoïd cellulose acetate – Rhodoïd for short. For this claw clip, we use a patented elastic band instead of the traditional metal spring, making it particularly sturdy, robust and gentle on the hair.

Rhodoïd is a sheet material made from cotton in Italy. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and then cut into individual discs. Through a labour-intensive process, these discs are transformed into enchanting hair ornaments and accessories such as the Lausanne claw clip.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our items, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper and cardboard, as well as eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.

As our products are manufactured in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards, unlike products manufactured in Asia.
