This high-quality barrette is made from organic olive wood and has been carefully crafted. The surfaces are smoothly sanded and free from sharp edges to provide optimum protection for the hair.

To protect against moisture and bring out the natural grain, each barrette is finished with natural linseed oil (free from chemical additives). This gives the wood its warm lustre and ensures it remains durable and hard-wearing.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our barrettes, we strive to strike a balance between ensuring they arrive safely and promoting sustainability. We use only recycled cardboard, paper materials, eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials.

This ensures your wooden hair accessories arrive safely packaged, whilst also being environmentally friendly.

Fair Trade barrette

Fair Trade is a matter of course for us. That is why we deliberately manufacture our barrettes in Europe and avoid cheap mass production outside the EU.

From the sourcing of raw materials right through to the finished product, we ensure decent working conditions and compliance with strict EU environmental standards. Short transport routes also help to reduce CO₂ emissions.

Our barrettes and their packaging are made predominantly from biodegradable and sustainable raw materials. By manufacturing in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we ensure the highest standards of quality and environmental protection.
