Material of the Alice band

Rhodoïd cellulose acetate is manufactured in Italy from cotton. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and cut into slices. These are then used in a complex process to create high-quality Alice bands and hair accessories.

The wide Alice band is fitted with rows of fine teeth, each with gently rounded tips. These provide a secure hold without exerting unnecessary pressure on the scalp or irritating the hair.

Tip

Our Alice bands can be individually adjusted to fit the shape of your head. Place the Alice band in hot water or blow-dry it gently, then carefully shape it whilst it is still warm. The prongs of the Alice band can be filed down to the desired size to ensure a perfect fit.
