Material

Rhodoïd is a sheet material made from cotton in Italy. The dyed cotton is pressed into blocks in selected colour combinations and then cut into individual discs. These discs are then transformed into enchanting hair ornaments and accessories through a labour-intensive process. The Dubai barrette features a high-quality metal clasp, which ensures a secure yet gentle hold even when worn for long periods!

That is why, in the production of this barrette, we have relied exclusively on high-quality materials, a meticulous manufacturing process and handcrafted assembly. Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our items, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper and cardboard, as well as eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.

Our geographical proximity allows us to gain a more detailed insight into the individual areas and significantly reduces transport distances, enabling us to make a huge contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and protecting the environment.

Our hair clips and their packaging are made predominantly from biodegradable raw materials sourced from sustainable agriculture. As our products are manufactured in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards, unlike products manufactured in Asia.
