Our classic beechwood hairbrushes are made from high-quality beechwood and fitted with carefully selected domestic pig bristles. The firm bristles of this hairbrush are particularly well suited to the daily care of short and long, straight hair.

The bristles have an even texture, allowing them to glide particularly gently through your hair. Thanks to the natural properties of domestic pig bristles, the hair follicles are naturally stimulated whilst brushing and the scalp is gently massaged. This promotes blood circulation and supports healthy hair growth.

Material

Our classic beechwood hairbrush is crafted from high-quality beechwood and fitted with selected domestic pig bristles. The raw materials come from sustainable forestry and agriculture and are processed with the utmost precision by a German company. This involves a meticulous manufacturing process that guarantees smooth surfaces and ensures gentle care for your hair and scalp.

Domestic pig bristles have a similar structure to human hair. This enables them to absorb excess sebum from the hair follicles and distribute it right through to the ends of the hair whilst brushing. This acts as a natural hair treatment and gives your hair a healthy shine.

As the wood grain of the hairbrushes always varies, each of these items is a charming, one-of-a-kind piece.

Care instructions

Our Redwood brush cleaner makes it easy to remove lint and trapped hair from between the bristles. Clean the hairbrush from time to time using a mild, silicone-free shampoo or mild soap and warm water, then rinse under cold water.

Wipe the wooden handle dry with a soft cloth and leave the brush to dry standing on its bristles. Regularly oiling it with a natural oil such as linseed oil or olive oil nourishes the wood whilst also protecting it from moisture.

Packaging and dispatch

When packaging our products, we strive to strike a reliable balance between transport safety and sustainability. We therefore use only recycled paper, cardboard boxes, eco-friendly packing tape and cotton bags made from naturally renewable raw materials. Each item is carefully wrapped in a cotton bag, tissue paper or kraft paper, then securely packed into a cardboard box and prepared for dispatch.

For us, Fair Trade isn’t just an added bonus – it’s a given! That’s why we’ve chosen to work with suitable companies in Europe rather than opting for cheaper manufacturing in Asia or Eastern Europe.

It is essential to us that our products are manufactured under humane conditions, from the sourcing of raw materials right through to the finished product. Our geographical proximity allows us to gain a more detailed insight into the individual areas and significantly reduces transport distances, enabling us to make a huge contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions and protecting the environment.

Our products and their packaging are made predominantly from biodegradable raw materials sourced from sustainable agriculture. As our products are manufactured in Germany, France, Austria and Portugal, we can fully guarantee compliance with EU environmental standards, unlike products manufactured in Asia.
